Support grows for sacked Dunnes' worker

Pickets will be mounted on Dunnes Stores' outlets this weekend in Belfast and Derry as support grows throughout the country for Joanne Delaney, the Mandate Shop Steward sacked for wearing a union pin.

Mandate's Brendan Archbold told An Phoblacht, "This issue has really taken off in the last few weeks and actions, protests and pickets are happening all over the place and sometimes even we don't know they're place such is the enthusiasm. I would encourage people to do all they can to maximise pressure on Dunnes Stores."
