DART closure petition

Presenting a petition against Dublin's summer DART shutdown are: (back) Arthur Morgan TD, Martin Ferris TD, Michael Nolan of Dún Laoghaire Sinn Féin; (front) Wicklow Sinn Fein's David Gahan, Aengus Ó Snodaigh TD and Bray Councillor John Brady. Hundreds of signatures were collected to protest the closure of the service at weekends starting from the June Bank Holiday. The weekend DART service will remain off until mid-September, and there will be another closure at Christmas time. In addition to the signatures collected, Brady and Gahan distributed 5,000 leaflets and put up posters in local businesses.
