Seán Gallagher meltdown voted top TV moment of 2011
SEÁN GALLAGHER’S Presidential campaign spluttering into oblivion on RTÉ’s Frontline debate when Martin McGuinness quizzed him on his fund-raising for Fianna Fáil has been voted Ireland’s top TV moment of 2011.
The British royal wedding – where Pippa Middleton’s backside was obsessed over by the media more than her actual marriage to Prince William and the sectarian, anti-democratic Buckingham Palace dynasty – came second in the TV3 poll. The state visit of US President Barack Obama to Ireland came third.
