THURSDAY, 21 MAY 1981, witnessed the deaths of two more Hunger Strikers. Raymond McCreesh passed away at 2:30am. That evening, Patsy O’Hara died. The deaths of Raymond and Patsy – who had started the strike on the same day, died on the same day and were born within a fortnight of each other in February 1957 – marked a critical escalation in the prison struggle as well as the struggle outside the prisons walls. Water crisis: Where to go for drinking water and shower facilities

Drinking water is available at Avoniel Leisure Centre; Whiterock Leisure Centre and Olympia Leisure Centre from today.
It is limited to 20 litres per household and people must bring their own containers.
Drinking water is also available from a tanker at the NI Water depot on Westland Road.
All leisure centres will be open for shower facilities.

Flooding: McGuinness wants Executive to look at emergency aid

Israeli boycott motion passed by Dublin Food Co-Op

THE Dublin Food Co-Op has voted to boycott Israeli goods in solidarity with the people of Palestine.
